Having been with LectureLinx (LLX) for almost two months now, transitioning from the #pharmaceuticalindustry to an agency has been surprisingly smooth for me, especially after spending nearly 27 years working “on the other side.” Many have asked me about my experience with the transition and what motivated me to make such a change.
During my time at Takeda, where I served as Senior Director of Professional Engagements in US Commercial Operations, LLX was our trusted vendor. This longstanding relationship allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for LLX’s Founder and CEO, Ellen Varelas, and her team.
As a client, I was consistently impressed by LLX’s unwavering commitment to principles and values. They weren’t just a strategic asset in terms of their contributions to our marketplace endeavours; they also ensured that our work was conducted compliantly and ethically. I often found myself thinking, “If only all vendors operated like LLX, our work would be so much simpler!”
Given my firsthand experience with LLX’s operational ethos, it was an easy choice for me to seize the opportunity to join a company that had consistently added significant value in my previous role and had always been an exceptional partner. I knew right from the start that this transition would be an excellent fit for me.
LLX’s mission perfectly aligns with my passion for educating #healthcareprofessionals (#HCPs) and patients, which has always been at the core of my professional focus. It’s important for me to remain in a role where, ultimately, the work I’m doing has a positive impact on patients’ quality of life.
As LLX’s Chief Client Delivery Officer, I have the privilege of leading a team of individuals who collaborate closely with our pharma clients to facilitate compliant engagements with HCPs and patients. Drawing from my own experiences, I approach each client interaction with empathy, understanding the challenges they face and offering configurable solutions to alleviate concerns and propel them forward.
At LLX, we embody a “can-do” attitude, where every individual is committed to going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Our team members fully grasp the significance of their contributions and how they contribute to both the company and client success. This collective mindset empowers us to tackle challenges head-on and deliver impactful results, knowing that our work matters deeply to both LLX and our clients. That’s what being a strategic partner is all about: each individual matters, but together we’re better.
LLX isn’t just a vendor; we consider ourselves an extension of our clients’ teams. We strive to cultivate a collaborative environment where mutual respect and shared goals drive our partnerships forward. I am confident that our clients see us as integral members of their team, just as we view them as essential partners in our mission to make a meaningful difference in #healthcare.
