LectureLinx is delighted to donate $3,575 to the ‘A Better Chance’ (ABC) program in Madison CT, which is helping young people of color in our community achieve their potential through education.
Together, our team collected $1,575 for their 2023 holiday donation and our CEO @Ellen Varelas added a further $2,000 to further amplify the impact of our support.
For the last 60 years, A Better Chance has been placing high-performing students of color into the nation’s leadership pipeline through increased access to top independent and public schools or community schools programs like Madison ABC, enabling them to reach their true potential. Community schools programs provide students with real-life experience of living and learning in a community with the benefit of an extensive support system and nurturing environment.
This exceptional foundation is especially close to our hearts at LectureLinx. Richard Ortiz, our highly valued Director (Architecture & Innovation), is proud to be a Madison ABC program alum, joining the team nine years ago initially as a part-time intern. His contributions in the workplace highlight the success that the Madison ABC program continues to have on our community.
